One very troublesome problem of the digital lomo toy camera is the extremely long (1-2Sec.) shutter release delay, which usually make us shake before the photo is actually taken. So I tried mounting the camera on a tripod to overcome this problem. Besides correcting hazy pictures, a tripod can also help you to take pictures in low light environment, self-timer, macro, etc.
1. It's much more easier than you might think, actually all you need is a flat-sided 1/4-20 nut. Meaning it's 1/4 inch in diameter, with 20 threads per inch. It's very common in any local hareware store.
2. You need to drill a hole underneath the camera case. Make sure you can align the hole with the nut.
3. Try it on your tripod head, make sure it is straight and level.
4. After the position is set, use a maximun amount of hot-melt adhesive to fix the position. Try your best to fill the hot-melt adhesive in all gaps.
5. Looking from the bottom of the camera.
